Girl Power 2018 Women’s History Honors Celebration at Brownsville Middle School

School Board Member Dr. Dorothy Bendross-Mindingall (D-2) was honored at Girl Power’s 2018 Women’s History Honors Celebration held at Brownsville Middle School. Also honored were: Ms. Dorothy Wallace (Founder of COPE Center South), Ms. Carolyn “Klani” Nesbitt (Founder/CEO of Concerned African Women), Ms. Regina Davis (M-DCPS PTSA President), and Ms. Zoe Terry (Founder/CEO of Zoe’s Dolls).

Honoring VonCarol Kinchens at the School Board Meeting

School Board Member Dr. Dorothy Bendross-Mindingall (D-2) was honored to recognize Ms. VonCarol Kinchens for her service and commitment to improving the lives of our children and families. Ms. Kinchens is the first African-American female to serve as the Director for the City of Miami N.E.T. Office.

FSA Testing Rally motivates our students at Lakeview Elementary School
