Honoring Mr. Mark Bell at his Retirement Celebration

Proud to Support our Liberty City children and families

School Board Member Dr. Dorothy Bendross-Mindingall (D-2) met with Ms. Latousha Daniels, the new CEO of Miami Children’s Initiative. As a State Representative, Dr. Bendross-Mindingall passed legislation and brought home $3.6 million to fund this program in Liberty City.

Ensuring our Children our Safe in Brownsville

School Board Member Dr. Dorothy Bendross-Mindingall (D-2) meets with Principal Miller and Region Supt. Pace after Brownsville Middle School was placed on lockdown. Shots were fired near the school in public housing. The safety and care for our students is our utmost concern.

Thanks to our administrators, security personnel, Miami-Dade Police, and educators for keeping our children safe. We must do all we can to rid our streets of gun violence.

Honoring Civil Rights Heroes at Folk Life Fridays
